As a team

We care about ensuring that everything we do has a positive impact - even making gin can be done with an eye to social, economic, environmental and human benefits. The ingredients for our products are sourced as much as possible in Shetland. For example, Blackwood's Vintage Dry Gin incorporates freshly hand-harvested Shetland botanicals including wild water mint, sea pink flowers, meadowsweet, angelica and coriander. The water we use comes from Heglibister Spring in the Tingwall Valley in the heart of Shetland. The cream in JAGOs comes from Shetland Cattle, the rest from a very happy herd of Ayrshire cattle in mainland Scotland.
